Gibson EDS-1275 Doubleneck 1989
Gibson EDS-1275 Doubleneck 1989
Gibson's famous EDS-1275 Doubleneck, a 1989 model made in stock, boasting an iconic design that continues to captivate the sensibilities of guitar fans and guitar players across all generations, has arrived. The color is cherry and the weight is 6.03kg.
The early "EDS-1275" that appeared in the late 1950s had a hollow body structure and a body top made from carved spruce, and no sound holes were provided. The model has two necks with six strings, one of which is short scale and is tuned one octave higher.
The current "EDS-1275" specification was made in 1962.After discontinuing production in 1968, Jimmy Page skillfully manipulated the 1275 in the early 1970s in the performance of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven," while Eagles' Don Felder used the "EDS-1275" to balance the 12-string arpeggio in the intro to "Hotel California" and the lead guitar solo from the outro.
This guitar has become a never-ending connection to a single song, and is still an eternal standard. There is no doubt that this double neck guitar is a guitar that truly captivates players.
There are versions that have been reprinted by Gibson Custom Shop, but this is a regular lineup made in 1989, and is mounted with the "The Original HB-R/L" pickup developed in collaboration with Bill Lawrence. The internal wiring is also original.
There is an unusual smell that cannot be removed on the hard case and the main unit.(It doesn't smell like a tobacco, but it has a very strong smell and it couldn't be removed even after ventilation, drying, or using deodorizer.)
Therefore, we offer it at a special price.
There are no issues with performance, such as the condition of the instrument and wiring.
*Please note that smells are not covered by the return or money back guarantee.
