The Japan-only model, the Taylor 314ce J-Spec, has arrived.

The 314ce model with a pickup from the 300 series, which uses a V-Class bracing structure.This is the Japan-only version of the most orthodox and popular classic model of the 300 series, considered to be Taylor's top series.

The neck shape has been changed from Standard to Slim and the nut width has been changed from 44.45mm to 42.86mm, which is an interesting point that the neck and nut width have been narrowed to fit in with Japanese people's hands.Not only is it easy to play, but the slimmer neck reduces the spread of strings that travel to the head, and by featuring the body sound, it has the great advantage of being able to output a more core sound in the line.This is why we recommend J-Spec.

The top is painted with a glossy finish made from Sitka spruce solid veneer, and the sides and back are painted with a satin finish made from sapeli wood.Satin finishes are often done to reduce costs, but Taylor also pays attention to the method of painting the satin.The top series differentiates the process, and we focus on painting processes that are more conscious of the body's sound.

The neck is made of solid tropical mahogany veneer.The fingerboard is made of ebony wood and is decorated with acrylic position mark inlays with a unique Gemstone pattern.The head is also decorated with an acrylic Gemstone pattern inlay on the top, and is equipped with a bronze chrome plating tuner.

The "V-Class Brace" released in 2018 has dramatically improved the volume and sustain, not only in terms of texture that matches the modern music scene.It is designed with the latest technology.

The pickup system is equipped with the familiar "ES2 Expression System II" at Taylor.The piezo is not under the saddle, but rather the side of the saddle, giving it a clear sound without any sense of compression.Even the vibrations of the entire body can be clearly expressed on stage.
