The basic structure reproduces almost the same specifications as when it was released, with the original open gear pegs and a neck with a select hardwood and an ebony fingerboard, and the top/bracing material that has a major impact on the sound are made of Adirondack spruce, and the bridge is made of ebony, with powerful bass and well-balanced chordal resonance.
In addition, the sides and back are made from high-quality Indian rosewood selected and forward shifted scalloped bracing to create a thick, tight bass and powerful sound.
Made from the finest wood, the D-28 sound is created by cutting-edge technology and skilled craftsmen.
