The Fender Mexico Telecaster is an attractive choice for many guitarists. The reason it receives such high praise is due to its excellent balance of price and quality. While more affordable than American-made Fenders, it offers solid construction and sound quality, and is favored not only by beginners and intermediate players, but also by professional musicians who deliberately choose Mexican-made instruments.

This time we have received a 2001 black "50's Tele Export" in stock. The weight is 3.8kg.

This model follows the Telecaster design of the 1950s. "Export" is a collective term for models manufactured in Mexico or Japan and exported for sale in overseas markets (such as America and Europe).

Due to the black color with no wood grain visible, the wood material cannot be determined with certainty, but it is likely an ash body. It features a maple neck with a 21-fret fingerboard. True to its "50s" designation, the pickguard features a rare 1-ply specification.

The pickups have been modified, and notably feature an active configuration with EMG single coils. Control remains VOL / TONE and a 3-way selector. Telecasters equipped with EMG pickups are quite rare, so if you've been searching for one, this requires no modifications and delivers excellent active sound. I believe the quality of early 2000s Fender Mexico instruments is quite high, and with minimal noise, I would personally recommend this to anyone who doesn't already own an EMG guitar.
