The small case of Maxon's ``OD-808 Overdrive'', a pioneer of TS circuits, is now available, with the input/output buffer, drive, and tone sections all composed of 1458-type OP amplifiers.

This "Small Case" (Narrow Box) was produced from its release in 1978 until 1980.After that, it was inherited by "Large Case" from 1980 to 1982.Although the size and design of the casing are different, the layout of parts and input/output buffer circuits are also different, so both have their advantages and are popular vintage effectors.
