The Fender Jazz Bass is a representative model of electric bass that was born in 1960.Along with the company's Precision Bass, it is loved by many players as a standard electric bass model.

This time, we have a 1978 jazz bass, Olympic white color.The serial number on the head is 1978.It features a body with exquisite faded coloring and a fearless appearance with a black pickguard.

The neck features a block-inlay rosewood fingerboard with binding, a heavy ash body, and a three-point neck joint that follows specs from the 1970s.

The sponge under the pickup has been replaced, the front and rear volume pots are from 1979, and the tone pots have been replaced with recent CTS ones.When it arrived, only the rear pickup was broken, but it was rewired at Eric Daw Custom Guitars in the United States, which handles a lot of Vintage Fender repairs, using the same materials as the original.

The bridge has been replaced with one made by Badass, and the mounting part has been modified, but parts such as pegs remain original.

The grip on the neck is moderately thick and stable without being too slim, and the sharp, clear sound is typical of this era.
Speaking of jazz basses from this period, many artists use them, including Marcus Miller, and they are very popular.

Although it is not a collector's item as it has many modifications, it is in good playing condition.The scratches and other scratches that would have been caused by heavy use give it an air of character that cannot be achieved with a relic, so this bass is a must-have for players looking for a practical jazz bass.
