Second edition with "censored" changed cover differs from first Release-8138085. Inner sleeve is matte paper, later editions glossy or clear plastic.

First UK / Europe pressings Release-408199 match this cover and have an uncensored inner sleeve with nude photo and a sticker on front cover reading "'Includes previously released material + 4 New Songs - GUNS N' ROSES (in green) - Contains language which may be unsuitable for some listeners."

Both US first / second edition inner sleeves were censored with a black bar across nude. Cover reads "LIES! LIES! LIES!" (replacing first edition text "Wife-beating has been around for 10,000 years") on lower left hand side, and right middle reads "Elephant gives birth to midget" (replacing first edition text "Ladies, welcome to the dark ages") in upper/middle right.

Both first/uncensored and second/censored cover editions were assembled from the same Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) platter pressing by Specialty Records Corporation. "E A S T" is embossed around the center hole.

This album includes previously released material from the Guns N' Roses "Live Like A Suicide" EP [m291684] "independently" released on Uzi Suicide Records (a "label" created by Geffen.)
