This album was released first in Japan(East World by Toshiba-EMI) only on September 20, 1979 and billed as an IAN GILLAN release as opposed to the GILLAN "band" album that came out in the UK in October.

This was also later released in Australia (Interfusion) and New Zealand (Parlophone).

This release contained alternative tracks to avoid reusing songs already released in these countries on the album Gillan. The track listing was as follows:

The album comes with a 4 page black and white booklet with linernotes. Most of them are in Japanese but some are in English. The last ones are signed by Ian Gillan. One page has the lyrics in English.

Although this album always is credited to the band "Gillan", cover and album credit it to "Ian Gillan". The trademark "Gillan" logo which first appears on the UK's Gillan Mr. Universe - does not appear on this record.
