The long-established guitar manufacturer "Santa Cruz" was founded in 1976 by luthier Richard Huber.By intentionally limiting production scale and conducting thorough quality control, we have become widely recognized as one of the world's top acoustic guitar brands.

This time, we have adopted the OM size and the "OM Cutaway Custom" with a cutaway has arrived.Purchased new in April 2019.

This instrument is a custom specification with a 644mm scale and a nut width of approximately 45mm.Since a spec sheet is not included, we cannot confirm the details of the wood such as the top material, but the sides and back, which appear to be high-quality rosewood with beautiful heathering, and the delicate purfling and binding catch the eye.The position mark is a modest small dot, and the SCGC logo symbolizing Santa Cruz shines on the head.The pickguard has a tortoiseshell pattern, and the pegs are made from high-quality Waverly.

The neck has a smooth satin finish with an exquisite grip that allows you to feel the nuances of the soft V shape only in the low position.It has a cohesive midrange characteristic of mahogany and a rich overtone characteristic of Santa Cruz, giving it a sweet and mellow sound amidst its sparkle.

Although it has an OM body, it has a powerful low range, and delivers powerful live sound not only for finger style but also for strokes with a pick.It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from singing to accompaniment.The sound character is similar to Martin, but the amazing sense of balance and overwhelming playability are the charms unique to Santa Cruz.The string height is as low as an electric guitar, and there is a cutaway, so it is designed to be stress-free even in high positions.

It's certainly an expensive model, but the quality and sound are well worth it.It's rare to find a guitar that has a Martin-like sound that makes me want it so much.Once you try it out, I'm sure you'll realize just how amazing it is.Honestly, if I had the money, I'd want this.
