Though specific recording dates for C-side tracks 3 to 8 and D-side tracks 1 to 7 are not available, they were almost certainly recorded in the marathon sessions that took place in the three weeks preceeding Otis' death.
The "recording dates" referred to above are actually the dates logged in Atlantic's files when Stax Records handed over finished tape copies of Otis' recordings. In most cases actual recording took place just prior to the dates shown.
