幼稚園に入園するとすぐにピアノを習いはじめ、高校に入学後は杉本京子に師事して練習に励んでいる。エレクトーンは小学校6年の時に笹治子に教えを受け、その後済奏を[a8287645]、江川真澄などわが国のトップクラスプレイヤーの手ほどきを受けている。また、竹内剛に和声学を学び、現在はジャズピアノの山中宏に師事している。

全ゆるジャンルの音楽を多才なテクニックで弾きこなす彼女に対して、昨秋来演したジミー・スミスは彼が今春アメリカで開校するオルガンスクールの生徒として預りたいと申し出たほど実力と可能性両方をかねそなえたプレイヤーである。

そして、生来の性格の明るさと、何事にも意欲的に取り組むところが関係者から可愛がられるお嬢さんである。そのステージ姿は、テンポのある動きに加えて、自分一人で弾いているのではなく聴衆に弾きかけるという様かさがみられる。弾きかけるという事は口で言うほど簡単なことではなく。プレイヤーの人間性を赤様々に出さねはできないことである。この若さでそれだけの事ができるのも彼女の性格そのもののよさを語っている。
